Nedoroscik is the first male gymnast on Dancing With the Stars

Stephen Nedoroscik, fresh off his success at the Olympics and widely recognized online as “Pommel Horse Guy,” has been

announced as a contestant on the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars.” This was revealed on Thursday’s episode

of ABC’s “Good Morning America.” Nedoroscik is the first celebrity contestant confirmed for the season, which will premiere

on September 17 on ABC and Disney+. Notably, he is the first male gymnast to compete on the show, as highlighted by

“Good Morning America” co-host Robin Roberts.

Expressing his excitement, Nedoroscik mentioned his intention to incorporate elements of gymnastics into his performances,

possibly including a backflip or handstand. “I want to have fun with it,” he shared during the announcement.
