How Harvey Weinstein Impacted Winona Ryder’s Career

Winona Ryder has shared how Harvey Weinstein impacted her career.  She said, “The one time I was supposed to have a meeting with him, I went to the Miramax office and I extended my hand and he shook my hand and I sat on the couch and we had a conversation and I left. And I got like screamed at [by an agent]. ‘What the f— did you do?’ I was like, ‘What?’ Apparently, I offended him because I extended my hand?” She also shared that there was a run-in with him because he wanted her to appear in a project. When she didn’t show interest, she said he, “he got very weird and he left.” The actress also shared that she thinks Weinstein didn’t like her because she “knew a little bit too much.”
