Manager Of Jonas Owned Restaurant Charged With Embezzlement

A former manager of a restaurant owned by the Jonas Brothers’ father is facing felony charges for allegedly embezzling over $200,000 from the business.
Joy Nichols Auten, 53, was charged with five counts of embezzlement by employee following an investigation into financial discrepancies at Nellie’s Southern Kitchen in Belmont, North Carolina.
Auten is accused of withdrawing over $251,000 from the restaurant’s account between June 2016 and March 2020, with a significant portion deposited into her personal bank account.
