Liam Payne Tried to Escape Hotel Room Before Tragic Fall

Former One Direction singer Liam Payne tragically died after falling from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. Reports say the 31-year-old was trying to escape his room when the accident happened.

Hotel staff at CasaSur Palermo were reportedly aware that Payne had threatened to use the balcony to leave. Security footage shows him appearing intoxicated and resisting as employees escorted him to his room.

Staff later called 911, saying they were worried Payne might hurt himself. Despite this, he was left alone in the room, where the fatal fall occurred.

Payne had reportedly expressed frustration about being stuck in hotel rooms before the incident.
