The MTV Video Music Awards will be broadcast on CBS for the first time this year, airing live on September 7 from the UBS Arena near New York City. The show will also be available on MTV and Paramount+, with a one-hour pre-show on Paramount Media Networks. Taylor Swift dominated the 2024 VMAs, winning seven awards, including video of the year for “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone. Swift now ties with Beyoncé for the most-awarded musician in VMA history, with 30 wins each. Nominees and performers for the upcoming VMAs will be announced closer to the show date.
