The series finale of And Just Like That concluded the revival series after three seasons, following the untimely death of Carrie Bradshaw’s husband, Big.

Viewers, critics, and writers self-identified as “hate-watchers” of the series, expressing that it was barely recognizable to the original but still compelling to watch.

Sarah Jessica Parker, the executive producer and lead actress, acknowledged the evolving tone of the series and supported the ending co-written by showrunner Michael Patrick King.

She also emphasized the importance of telling meaningful stories and making connections with audiences, despite the mixed reactions to the revival.

King and co-writer Susan Fales-Hill knew the series finale was the ending they wanted to convey, echoing the message of self-love and contentment for Carrie Bradshaw.
