The Best Jobs in America in 2026

 An annual list of the Best Jobs in America just came out.  And the same gig is up at the top again.  NURSE PRACTITIONER is “U.S. News & World Report’s” best job in America for a third straight year.

They base their rankings on things like how well each job pays . . . how fulfilling they are . . . how STRESSFUL they are . . . and how realistic it is to have a good work-life balance.  They also look at job openings, and room for advancement.

1.  Nurse practitioner.  The typical salary is $129,000 a year . . . the unemployment rate is less than 1% . . . and they expect 40% more job openings for nurse practitioners over the next decade.

2.  Financial manager, $162,000.  More money, but less job growth.

3.  I.T. manager, $171,000

4.  Information security analyst, $125,000

5.  Physician assistant, $133,000

The rest of the Top 10 are:  Medical and health services manager . . . software developer . . . data scientist . . . speech-language pathologist . . . and pilot.
