Rick Springfield Hints At New Music

Rick Springfield has been reunited with his beloved Les Paul guitar, which was his main axe on his 1981 breakthrough album Working Class Dog.

“The magnificent six!” Springfield captioned a photo of his guitar collection. “Finally got my Les Paul (second from the left) back off the road. It’s been there for years. It was my main guitar for the Working Class Dog record and I’m real happy to have it home.”

Springfield described the Les Paul as one of his most challenging guitars to play due to its weight but emphasized that it sounds like a monster.

Springfield hinted at new music in the works, teasing that the guitar will play a role in his upcoming record, which will feature lots of guitars.
Fans expressed excitement and anticipation for Springfield’s new music, with one fan jokingly saying, “You’ve restored my faith in humanity, Rick.”
