Taylor Swift has been named the biggest-selling global artist of 2025 by the IFPI in their annual round-up, marking the sixth time she has achieved this feat.
The IFPI represents the recorded music industry worldwide and releases an annual Global Artist Chart to recognize the biggest-selling artists of the previous calendar year.
Swift’s album “The Life of a Showgirl” broke numerous records, spending 12 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and scoring the largest week for an album by equivalent album units earned in its opening-week debut.
Tyler, the Creator made his first appearance inside the top 20 of the chart at No. 12, following a successful tour and the release of his LP “Chromakopia” and surprise LP “Don’t Tap The Glass.”
Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, SZA, and Justin Bieber returned to the chart following successful releases and tours in 2025.
