Savannah Guthrie Offers $1 Million Reward in Search for Missing Mother

Television host Savannah Guthrie said Tuesday that her family is offering up to $1 million for information that leads to the recovery of her mother, Nancy Guthrie, in a video posted on Instagram.
“Please keep praying without ceasing,” Guthrie said in the video. “We still believe, we still believe in a miracle. We still believe that she can come home. Hope begets hope. As my sister says, we are blowing on the embers of hope.”
Guthrie’s 84-year-old mother was taken from her Tucson home overnight on Feb. 1. Authorities are investigating the case as a possible abduction.
Guthrie also shared that her family is donating $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to help other families facing similar situations.
While asking the public for help, Guthrie acknowledged the serious and painful possibilities surrounding her mother’s disappearance and urged anyone with information to come forward.
“We also know she may be lost,” Savannah said. “She may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she lives, and is dancing in heaven, with her mom and her dad and with her beloved brother Pierce — and with our daddy.”
