Meet our Furry Friday Friends of the Week!!

Both from Happy Tails Rescue in Charlotte!

Moose… he has worked really hard, learned everything he was asked to learn, and now training is complete and he is ready to serve.

What Moose is waiting for now isn’t another command…it’s his person. A veteran or first responder who has carried more than most people will ever understand. Someone who could use a steady presence beside them, a quiet comfort in the dark moments, and a loyal partner who won’t ever walk away. Moose was trained to notice the things others miss, to stay calm when things feel overwhelming, and to be there no matter what. But more than anything, he was trained to care. To listen without words. To remind someone they’re not alone anymore.

If you know a hero who could use a battle buddy, a protector, and a friend who will choose them every single day, please help us find each other. Have them reach out to rick@k9responderfoundation.com

And sweet Halona! She is the sweetest 2.5 yr old lab hound mix who was found at a homeless encampment swollen with demodex mange and sores with swollen skin.  She was broken and shut down.  Since rescue she has come out of her shell and is the sweetest loving girl who is great with kids, dogs of all sizes, house trained, needs a little leash work but is being fostered with the trainer who trained Moose so she will be a pro in no time. Her skin is healing nicely and her hair is growing back beautifully
