Britney Spears will not be attending her court date for her DUI, as she is currently in a facility out of state for treatment.

The pop star was arrested for driving under the influence in March after being pulled over for erratic driving on the 101 freeway in California.

Spears’ representatives have stated that she intends to comply with the law and take the necessary steps for her well-being.

Treatment centers now recognize that a 90-day stay is more effective than the traditional 30-day program for changing habits and lifestyles.

We wish Britney well as she focuses on her recovery.
