Meet our Furry Friday Friends of the Week!
Both from Anson County Animal Control and Maggie Lu’s rescue. Maggie Lu’s saved Stephanie from the shelter and they are trying to save Peaches but the need a foster to step up!!
I met Stephanie at Paws in the Park and she is a dream!
Stephanie’s details:
🐾 House & crate trained
🐾 Great with dogs & kids (no cats for this girl)
🐾 Food motivated = fun to train
🐾 Knows sit, down, stay, shake + has great recall
🐾 Good on leash and getting better every day
🐾 LOVES car rides
🐾 Currently working on her “wait at the door” skills (and doing amazing!)
🐾 Great in public, breweries, parks, outdoor restaurant patios — just a happy go lucky beauty!
🐾 In foster home with two other dogs! 🐶🐶
And Peaches: someone messaged me on Instagram and asked me to help save a dog tied to a store sign in Pageland. She was by a peach stand. I contact my friends at Anson County shelter and they sent someone out right away!!

🍑 3.5 years old, 56lbs
🍑 the softest fur and prettiest face
🍑 loves stuffies more than anything
🍑 happy, silly temperament that keeps you laughing
🍑 friendly and loving to every human she meets
🍑 has done very well with elementary aged children
🍑 heartworm positive — needs an adopter or foster and rescue to begin lifesaving treatment outside of the shelter
🍑 needs slow, intentional intros when meeting dogs; prefers males
🍑 spayed
