Charlotte among 2025 top 50 best cities to live in the U.S. - Page 3

Charlotte has been ranked 44th in Niche.com’s 2025 list of the best cities to live in the United States, based on factors such as crime rates, public schools, and job opportunities. The city’s strong economy, diverse population, and cultural scene contribute to its appeal. Raleigh and Durham in North Carolina also made the top 50 list, along with Charleston, South Carolina. Charlotte continues to attract new residents, with about 117 people moving to the area daily. According to Niche ranking: “Charlotte is a city in North Carolina with a population of 886,283. Charlotte is in Mecklenburg County and is one of the best places to live in North Carolina. Living in Charlotte offers residents an urban suburban mix feel and most residents own their homes. In Charlotte there are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Many families and young professionals live in Charlotte and residents tend to lean liberal. The public schools in Charlotte are above average.”
