Live Nation has announced they will require COVID-19 vaccines beginning in October.
They said in a statement, “Vaccines are going to be your ticket back to shows, and as of October 4th, we will be following the model we developed for Lollapalooza and requiring this for artists, fans, and employees at Live Nation venues and festivals everywhere possible in the US.” This rule will be in effect “where permitted by law,” they added. Employees will also have to be vaccinated.
How will this impact Charlotte concertgoers?
Notable acts slated to perform in Charlotte after October 4th include The Jonas Brothers Oct 12th (PNC Music Pavilion), Zac Brown Band Oct 16th (PNC Music Pavilion), Machine Gun Kelly Oct 27th (Charlotte Metro Credit Union) and Florida Georgia Line Oct 22nd (PNC Music Pavilion). Plan ahead and get vaccinated if you want to attend these shows! Check the N.C. Vaccine Finder to find a vaccination site near you and learn more about $100 incentives they are offering.
